Class Overview
Welcome to Integrity Medical Training! We proudly offer specialized First Aid and safety training classes tailored for Girl Scout troops, designed to meet badge requirements and enhance scouts' safety skills.
Our courses are fully customizable to suit the needs and interests of each troop, and we also offer a Child & Babysitting Safety class upon the request of troop leaders.
Participants will receive a "certificate of completion", affirming their skills and readiness to handle emergencies. Our certified trainers can deliver these vital trainings directly at your troop’s location for convenience and accessibility.
Topics Covered:
- Scene Safety and Responsiveness: Teach scouts to assess emergency scenes, check for signs of life, and know when to call 911.
- First Aid Supplies: Learn the essential items for a first aid kit and their uses.
- Wound Care: Instruction on assessing, cleaning, and wrapping wounds, with a focus on distinguishing between minor and major bleeds.
- Choking Emergencies: Hands-on training on how to effectively respond to choking incidents.
- Comprehensive Safety Skills: Courses cover recognizing heat exhaustion and heat stroke, personal protection, and more.
